Wake Forest Wedding at The Sutherland

Tiffany and Scott wowed us with 20’s glam at their Great Gatsby inspired wedding in Wake Forest, NC. The Sutherland Pavilion certainly provided an ideal scene, with dazzling chandeliers and elegant decor that transported guests to the roaring twenties. Tiffany and her bridesmaids got ready in The Sutherland’s bridal suite, and Tiffany allowed herself a few moments to let her wedding day soak in. Her adorable flower girls joined in as hair and makeup finished up, and the ring bearer made an appearance before politely asking where all the boys were. He found “all the boys” out in the groomsmen cabin, hanging out and finishing up their ties. Despite a little rain, there were smiles all around as Tiffany and her dad made their grand entrance into The Sutherland’s Pavilion.

The skies cleared up in time for a beautiful photo session on the lawn, while guests enjoyed themselves during the cocktail hour. After Tiffany and Scott re-entered the pavilion they got the party started, with some swanky dance moves, tearful toasts, and delicious food. Their wedding cake fits right in with their theme with beautiful colors with a capital G on top. It was easy to see how much time and attention-to-detail was put into every aspect of this glamorous wedding. While guests gathered down the walkway with confetti, Tiffany and Scott snuck in one last emotion-filled dance. After sharing those precious moments alone, they made their way through friends and family (and lots and lots of confetti) to the awaiting Excalibur. What could be a more fitting getaway car for this Gatsby inspired wedding! We really enjoyed our time at this 20’s glam wedding set in Wake Forest, NC.
