Katie and Jack were married last fall at the beautiful Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Winston-Salem. Our videography team had the opportunity to hang out with the bride and her girls as they got ready in her childhood home in downtown Winston-Salem. We even got to play with Katie’s super cute dog, who is bizarrely also named Jack! Jack (the human) got dressed with the guys at his nearby home before heading to Our Lady of Mercy Catholic church to greet family and friends. The Catholic ceremony was beautiful, with Jack’s old band “Five ’til Five” constructing the perfect soundscape. “I do”, “Me too”, and they were off to their reception (also located in the triad)! But not before exiting the church through a tunnel of cheers and bubbles, and stopping off at beautiful Old Salem for some bridal party photos. Five ’til Five headed to the Event Center at Summit Square and entertained guests until Jack and Katie arrived. The Event Center in Winston-Salem was beautifully decorated, with sunflowers adorning the tables and bottles of Cheerwine showing guests where to sit. Certainly, a big hit was the dessert table, filled with Italian treats, pies, and of course cake! Friends and family enjoyed a night of dancing, laughing at Jack and Katie’s Shoe Game, and sharing their love with the newlyweds. We really appreciated the unique details of the wedding Katie and Jack had planned and thought that it all came together beautifully. When the night came to a close everyone grabbed some glow sticks and sent Katie and Jack off to their new life together.
