Winmock Wedding near Winston-Salem

Jordan and David got married on a beautiful day out at the always gorgeous,Winmock wedding venue. One of the best parts about this Winston-Salem wedding venue, is the close proximity to the highway and other local parks, making it a guest friendly place to feature your wedding day. They hosted their guests outdoors to enjoy to beauty of their surroundings for their ceremony. One moment within their ceremony that we absolutely loved, was their handwritten vows to one another. Being able to courageously stand in front of each other and their families to proclaim their love in their own words is always a great addition to the day. Elegant ensembles set the tone with their lovely stringed music, so guests felt at ease and could sit back while taking in the gorgeous weather.

After wiping away the tears of joy, guests enjoyed a nice, long cocktail hour, where they got a chance to mingle, get to know new friends, and enjoy some tasty beverages. Meanwhile, Jordan and David were free to roam and explore the beautiful locations around Winmock. The photo session is always a great opportunity to really capture the love between a couple and it is always great to see couples boldly take advantage of this time to capture just their selves and the love they share.

Walking into the main upstairs barn of Winmock, your breath is immediately taken away by the beauty and splendor of the massive ceilings and beautiful woodwork. To top it off, Jordan and David, with the help of the always talented, Melissa of Relish Design, chose some absolutely adorable décor. Custom signage, a crafty sign in table, and an old Polaroid photo booth to name just a few of their personality-sharing touches. We absolutely have to give Joy at Blooms and Thistle a shout out. Her floral work is stunning, to say the least, and is absolutely something we look forward to seeing every wedding we work together with her.

And who could forget their lovely “naked cake” by Maxie B’s, that is all the rage right now? Of course for the tastiness, but also the unique look that it brings to a rustic barn venue.

After dancing the night away, everyone gathered out front, under a star-lit sky to send off the happy new couple in a barrage of bubbles, a time-tested and always entertaining display of joy.
