A Charlotte Wedding at The Magnolia Room

We recently had the pleasure of filming Brittany and Nathan’s Charlotte wedding video at Hickory Grove Baptist Church. As wedding guests arrived they signed their “well wishes” onto a pretty cool pallet, the first time we’ve seen that used in lieu of a guestbook. Their wedding day was full of sweet emotion from the start, from the joyfully tearful first look between Brittany and her father to the oh-so-sweet prayer Nathan shared with Brittany (from opposite sides of a curtain, holding hands but not seeing each other!).

The Charlotte wedding ceremony was of course also overflowing with love and emotion, with Brittany’s father officiating and both families participating in the unity candle ceremony. The family continued to share their love for the couple throughout the ceremony; one of Brittany’s sisters sang, and Nathan’s uncle shared a reading. Afterward the bridal party and family stuck around Hickory Grove Baptist in Charlotte, NC for some great photos, while guests headed down south to the South Carolina reception.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Stone arrived at The Magnolia Room in Rock Hill, SC, to find their guests enjoying a hot cider and cocoa bar, and goofing around in the photo booth. After some smooth dancing and delicious food, our wedding videography team was in tears once again as Brittany’s father, bridesmaids, and groomsmen toasted the couple. Some more dancing, cake, and a candy bar later, it was time to say goodbye and good luck to the newlyweds! Friends and family lit up the sky and cheered as Brittany and Nathan started off on their new life together.
