Chapel Hill Carriage House Wedding
Whitney & Joseph | Chapel Hill NC
Sometimes, two people meet, and the chemistry is so strong that they are never the same again. Whitney and Joseph found each other ten years ago. They went through ups and downs individually and as a couple, but one thing never changed: LOVE.
After a long wait, the moment has come to celebrate their love with family and friends and start their happily ever after at the Chapel Hill Carriage House. This gorgeous venue is located close by to Durham NC, allowing for friends and family from all over easy access to this serene environment.
Getting Prepped at the Chapel Hill Carriage House
The day began with endearing gestures from the bride and groom who gifted each other and their parents with sweet little tokens. They sent each other hand-written letters, fondly recalling their love through the years and telling each other how thrilled they are to tie the knot.
Silk dresses and tuxedos in fern and tangerine were a welcome sight amidst nature’s splendor in the blossoming manicured gardens of Chapel Hills Carriage House Property.
Gorgeous Weather in Chapel Hill NC
The sky watched over kindly and blessed the love-filled gathering with warm and compassionate weather. Beautiful little art pieces were a joy to look at; the chimes, the windmill, and the carriage. In vast greenery around a tranquil lake, the couple came to profess their love for eternity.
Whitney was a delicate vision in a white mermaid dress. Her infectious smile brightens everyone’s day. She looked so at ease because she knows the man that she is marrying. Proudly beaming on her left and right were her two fathers, happy to give her away.
Joseph looked every inch a gentleman in a greyish-white suit. He was all smiling throughout the day, sometimes getting a bit teary-eyed. The bridesmaids cheered in melon dresses, while the groom’s men looked dashing in amber neckties.
A Very Special Carriage House Officiant
Not your usual presider, the couple’s brother in law was relaxed and casual as head officiated the ceremony. He advised the groom to “know his wife’s favorite things” and told the bride to let her husband “come around once in a while”–making the assembly explode in laughter.
Wearing no-frills, trails, or tight fittings, everyone looked comfortable and were free to frolic in the greenery and play with llamas after the wedding. The sun gave way to the moon, and guests headed to a rustic cottage for a night of well-mannered frivolity.
A Night of Partying at this Chapel Hill Wedding Venue
The venue felt nostalgic with the opulent yellow bulb arrangements and other timeless artisanal creations. The Perfect Beat played a mix of love songs and music that make people want to dance.
The bridegroom led the dance with zeal, inviting people to the dance floor one-by-one until everyone was smiling, dancing, and feeling the love. During breaks from the DJ, friends expressed their love and happiness through toast, urging for the couple to be one another’s haven.
The night ended with a brilliant display of sparklers as the couple strolled off into the night. Congratulations Whitney and Joseph!
